Pakistan Day celebrated with patriotic zeal in Ziarat; flag hoisted at Quaid’s residency

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Like the rest of the country, Pakistan Day was celebrated in Ziarat district in a grand manner on March 23rd. Various events were organized in this regard on Monday.

The flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Quaid-e-Azam Residency. Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Abdul Quddus Achakzai hosted the national flag.

Assistant Commissioner Sajjad-ur-Rehman and district officers were also present on the occasion.

Deputy Commissioner Abdul Quddus Achakzai said that the purpose of celebrating Pakistan Day is to celebrate this day with the commitment and renewal that we would not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the sake of the beloved homeland because our elders achieved Pakistan through great sacrifices.

He said that we would have to work together practically for the prosperity of Pakistan, saying everyone has to play a role for its development and security.

He said that on March 23, the Pakistan Resolution was presented. Today, it reminds us of the sacrifices of our ancestors and we should appreciate the sacrifices of our elders who gave us a great gift by creating this country, Pakistan.

He said that the Pakistani nation is united and ready for any sacrifice for the survival of country.
