PAF wins 55th National Men’s Volleyball C'ship

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) clinched the title of the 55th National Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026, defeating Pakistan Navy 3-1 in a thrilling final held at the Pakistan Ordnance Factories Sports Complex, Wah Cantt.

Marking a comeback after 12 years, PAF reclaimed the national crown. Despite losing the first set 16-25, PAF staged a strong comeback to win the next three sets 25-21, 25-21, and 25-18, said a press release.

PAF remained unbeaten throughout the tournament.

In the semi-final, the team defeated defending champions Wapda in straight sets.

The championship took place from May 18 to May 23, featuring 16 of the country’s top teams.

PAF Captain Chief Technician Fahad Raza was named Player of the Final as well as Player of the Tournament. Chief Technician Afaq Khan received the award for Best Outside Hitter.

The victory underscores the Pakistan Air Force’s commitment to high performance, teamwork, and the spirit of competitive sports.
