Over 180 kanals government land reterieved in going anti-encroachment drive

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) In a major crackdown against encroachment and land grabbing, the district administration successfully recovered 181 kanals of government land during an operation in Mouza Rakh Mandhra.

According to the administration, the action was taken in line with directives of the provincial government,l.

Additional Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Iftikhar Ahmad, accompanied by revenue officials and local police, carried out the operation and removed illegal occupation from the state-owned land.

The recovered land has an estimated market value of around Rs188.

5 million.

The administration took possession of the land after clearing all unauthorized encroachments.

District authorities reiterated their commitment to protecting government property and warned that indiscriminate action against land grabbers would continue across the district.

They say no one would be allowed to occupy state land illegally and that the rule of law would be enforced without exception.

The district administration further said that operations against encroachment mafias would remain ongoing to safeguard public assets and ensure strict implementation of government directives.
