Operation “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos” ceremony held in Attock to express solidarity with armed forces

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) A central ceremony in connection with Operation “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos” was held at the District Council Hall Attock, where participants demonstrated national unity, patriotism and solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan.

The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the national anthem and special prayers for the peace, stability and prosperity of the country.

Member National Assembly Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza, District Police Officer Sardar Mavarhan Khan, former Punjab sports Minister Jahangir Khanzada, Malik Hameed Akbar Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Anil Saeed, Assistant Commissioner Arif Qureshi, CEO education Dr Muhammad Azhar, DEO Elementary Syed Muhammad Taqi Abbas, Zila Council Administrator Syed Ali Abbas, President SAARC Women Chamber of Commerce Hina Mansab Khan, District Emergency Officer Dr Mian Muhammad Ashfaq, PML-N women leader Khalida Rana, officers of various departments, teachers, students and a large number of citizens attended the ceremony.

During the event, students presented national songs, speeches and tableaux, receiving appreciation from the audience.

Participants also raised slogans in favor of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army.

Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said that Pakistan’s armed forces are among the best forces in the world and the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them. Rao Atif said Pakistan is a peace-loving country, however, any aggression against the homeland would be responded to with full force. Mavarhan Khan said that law enforcement agencies and security forces possess the capability to tackle all kinds of challenges.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, a rally was also taken out from the District Council Hall in which participants carried national flags and banners. The rally passed through different roads of the city where citizens welcomed the participants.

Similar ceremonies, seminars, walks and rallies in connection with Operation “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos” were also organized in other tehsils of Attock district to pay tribute to the sacrifices and services of the armed forces for the defense of the country.
