Open-door policy in focus as DC Chiniot addresses public complaints

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) The implementation of the open-door policy, introduced on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, continues in Chiniot, with Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan actively engaging with citizens to address their concerns.

During a public interaction session on Tuesday, the deputy commissioner listened to complaints from residents and issued directives to the relevant departments for their prompt resolution.

She stressed that district officers must remain accessible to the public, carefully hear their grievances, and ensure practical solutions that satisfy complainants.

Ayesha Rizwan also directed officials to provide proper facilities for visitors at government offices, including shaded seating arrangements and the availability of cold drinking water.
