Open court held to address public legal issues in Barkhan

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) Under the people-friendly vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the District Administration of Barkhan organized an open court at FC Qila Barkhan to address the legal problems of people of Naharkot soon.

The open court was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Barkhan Abdullah Khosa, while Wing Commander Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Younis, Assistant Commissioner Khadim Hussain Bhangar, district officers of various government departments, regional dignitaries and a large number of people participated.

During the open court, citizens from Naharkot and adjoining areas presented their problems directly to the administration.

The people identified important public issues such as provision of clean drinking water, lack of basic health facilities, poor mobile signals, establishment of a veterinary hospital for livestock, fair distribution of ration among the deserving people and construction and repair of Naharkot road.

Deputy Commissioner Barkhan Abdullah Khosa listened to the public issues with great attention and issued instructions to the officers of the relevant departments present on the spot to take immediate and effective steps to resolve the issues presented.

He said that the district administration is utilizing all available resources for public service and timely resolution of issues as per the vision of the Government of Balochistan.

He said that the holding of open courts is practical proof that the government and the district administration are taking serious steps to resolve the issues being faced by the people.

Speaking on the occasion, Wing Commander Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Younis said that the civil administration and security agencies are working with mutual cooperation and coordination for peace and stability, development and public welfare in the area.

He said that all possible cooperation would be provided to resolve the issues of the people so that the development process in the area can be further accelerated.

During the open court, some issues were resolved on the spot, while immediate instructions were issued to the relevant authorities to resolve other issues.

The participants appreciated this initiative of the district administration and said that such public forums play an important role in reducing the distance between the public and government institutions and strengthening trust.

District Administration Barkhan expressed his determination that the series of open courts and public communication campaigns would continue in the future for the solution of public problems and the development and prosperity of the area.
