One killed, one injured as truck hits motorcycle

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2026) A young man was killed, while another person sustained serious injuries when a speeding truck hit a motorcycle from behind near Sarai Alamgir, rescue officials said.

According to Rescue 1122, two people were riding a motorcycle when a fast-moving truck struck the bike from the rear.

As a result, one of the riders, identified as Jabar Ali, 23, son of Noor Ahmed and a resident of Vehari district, fell from the motorcycle and came under the truck’s wheel.He died on the spot after his head was crushed under the tyre of the vehicle.

The second rider, Maqsood, 59, son of Abdul Ghafoor and a resident of Qasba Karyali, Sarai Alamgir, sustained serious injuries in the accident.

Rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the victims to Civil Hospital Sarai Alamgir.
