One killed in shahzor-truck collision near Mullan Mansoor on GT road

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) A 45-year-old driver lost his life in a road accident after a Shahzor vehicle collided with a truck near Mullan Mansoor on the GT Road on Sunday.

According to rescue sources, the Shahzor vehicle crashed into a truck travelling ahead of it, resulting in a severe impact. The driver of the Shahzor, identified as Sher Dil Khan, son of Abdul Karim, sustained critical injuries and succumbed to his wounds at the scene.

Witnesses said the collision occurred suddenly, leaving the vehicle badly damaged and causing traffic disruption on the busy highway for some time.

Upon receiving information about the accident, a Rescue 1122 ambulance rushed to the scene and initiated emergency response operations. After completing the necessary legal formalities, rescue personnel shifted the deceased's body to THQ Hospital Hazro.

Authorities have launched an inquiry to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
