NPO to organize webinar on ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems for SMEs

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2026) The National Productivity Organization (NPO) is going to organize an online training course titled “ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems for SMEs” on March 26 to help small and medium enterprises improve operational efficiency and adopt internationally recognized quality standards.

The workshop aimed at equipping participants with practical knowledge of quality management principles and the implementation of ISO 9001 standards in organizational processes, said an NPO document shared here on Thursday.

The course will introduce participants to key terminologies in quality management, the fundamental principles of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems (QMS), and the requirements necessary for implementing the standard in organizations.

It will also highlight strategies for maximizing the effectiveness of ISO 9001 to enhance productivity and overall organizational performance.

The document revealed that ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard for quality management systems designed to help organizations consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements while enhancing customer satisfaction.

For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), adopting ISO 9001 provides a structured approach to improving processes, increasing efficiency and boosting credibility.
