Next fiscal year: Details of development schemes sought from depts

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Mar, 2026) The process of preparing the development budget for the next fiscal year has officially started, while the P&D board has asked for details of development schemes from all departments.

Sources in P&D say that the departments have accelerated work on their respective development schemes.

According to the details, both new and ongoing schemes are being prepared, while the process of approving their PC-1 has also started.

The prepared development schemes will be submitted to the P&D Board, where the new schemes will be approved.

The P&D Board has also sought details of the proposed projects from all departments so that the development program for the next fiscal year can be finalised.

An important meeting of the Local Government Department was also held in this regard, which was attended by Ahmar Sohail Kaifi, Amjad Ali and other officers. The development priorities and projects for the next fiscal year were discussed in detail in the meeting.
