BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) Member of the Provincial Assembly Saadia Bilal carried out a series of public engagements in Bahawalpur, focusing on Ramazan relief measures for citizens and educational support for students.
Accompanied by Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Lawyers Wing Bilal Mahmood Malik, the MPA visited the Nigehban Ramazan Bazaar, where she reviewed the availability of essential food items at officially notified prices. She inspected fruit and vegetable stalls, checked rate lists, and interacted with citizens to assess price control and product quality on the ground.
Saadia Bilal directed the concerned administration to ensure strict implementation of government price lists and ordered immediate action against hoarding or profiteering. She emphasized that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, providing maximum relief to the public during the holy month of Ramazan remains a top government priority.
Earlier, MPA Saadia Bilal attended a prestigious ceremony as chief guest at Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Bahawalpur, where laptops were distributed among outstanding students under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme.
The event was attended by Vice Chancellor Muhammad Mazhar Ayaz, faculty members, and a large number of students.
Addressing the gathering, the MPA stated that talented and hardworking students are the nation’s most valuable asset and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing quality education and modern facilities to youth. She said the provision of technological resources aims to equip students with contemporary skills and enable them to excel academically. She encouraged students to remain dedicated to their studies so they may emerge as responsible and capable citizens contributing positively to the country’s progress. Students expressed appreciation and satisfaction over the government’s initiative to support their education through laptop distribution.
