QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2026) A Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Punjab Emmanuel Ether Julius, called on Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel here on Monday.

The Governor said that from the first day, we have opened the doors of the Governor House to all citizens, regardless of their religious and ethnic background.

While talking to MPA from the Pakistan Muslim League-N, Chairman Pakistan Christian Alliance and a member of the inspection team of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Governor said that according to the Constitution of Pakistan, every minority member is an equal citizen of this country.

He said the 1973 Constitution guarantees equal opportunities, basic facilities and protection of life and property for all of us saying that whether the people who come to the Governor House are from the majority or the minority, I get peace of mind and satisfaction in reducing the problems they face.

Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that the Christian community here, as well as the leaders of all our other minorities have very pleasant and active relations.

As the Governor of Balochistan, "I regularly participate in various programs and religious events of all of them", he said.

He further said that the visit of a minority leader and member of the Punjab Provincial Assembly to Quetta would certainly play an important role in promoting inter-provincial solidarity.

Both the leaders stressed the importance of increasing people-to-people contacts and active cooperation between the provinces.
