Motorbike lifter arrested in injured condition

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) The Hyderabad police have arrested a suspected motorbike lifter in injured condition after he sustained a gunshot to his leg in an encounter with the cops of Makki Shah police station.

The police spokesman Inspector Shahid Usman informed here on Sunday that the exchange of fire between the police and the suspect Abdul Razzak alias Shahbaz Chandio occurred near Sheedi graveyard.He added that the police recovered a stolen motorbike and an unlicensed pistol from possession of Chandio.Chandio was shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for surgery of his gunshot wound.The spokesman claimed that he was already booked in 3 FIRs of motorbike theft.
