ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) A high-level meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Federal Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT), to discuss the upgradation of the National Training Centre for Special Persons (NTCSP), Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE), in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC).

The meeting was attended by the Executive Director, NAVTTC, along with senior officials from both organizations, to deliberate on measures aimed at strengthening vocational training opportunities and institutional capacity for persons with disabilities.

The meeting focused on strengthening institutional collaboration to transform NTCSP into a modern, inclusive, and market-oriented vocational training institution capable of equipping persons with disabilities with industry-relevant skills and enhanced employment opportunities.

During the meeting, it was agreed that NAVTTC would facilitate the registration and affiliation of NTCSP on a fast-track basis and without any financial burden on the institution. A dedicated NAVTTC team will visit NTCSP to complete the process and ensure its timely conclusion.
