35 criminals held

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Police arrested 35 outlaws,including proclaimed offenders and court absconders,during intelligence-based operations carried out across the district over the past 24 hours.

According to a police spokesperson,the crackdown resulted in the arrest of six proclaimed offenders(PO's) and 11 court absconders.

Police teams also recovered illicit weapons from the possession of the accused during the operations.

In a separate action,police apprehended three drug peddlers and seized hashish,ice and liquor from their custody.

The spokesperson said cases had been registered against the arrested suspects and further investigations were underway.

Police reiterated their commitment to continuing operations against criminal elements to maintain law and order in the district.
