MNA along with Parliamentary Secretary for Information & Culture Punjab visit Ramazan Sasta Bazaar in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Tahira Aurangzeb along with Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture, Punjab Shazia Rizwan visited the Ramazan Sasta Bazaar established at Haidri Chowk in Rawalpindi on Sunday to review arrangements for the holy month.

MNA, Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Punjab accompanied by relevant officials, inspected various stalls and reviewed the availability, quality and sale of essential food items at government-notified rates. They also interacted with citizens and inquired about the facilities being provided at the subsidised market.

Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, Tahira Aurangzeb said the government was taking practical steps to provide relief to the common man, adding that the supply of quality items at affordable prices was being ensured during Ramazan.

Shazia Rizwan directed that all commodities must be sold strictly at fixed rates and warned that profiteering or hoarding would not be tolerated. She also instructed officials to further improve cleanliness and ensure maximum facilitation for visitors.

During the visit, the administration was directed to maintain transparency and quality standards in Ramazan Sasta Bazaars to ensure genuine relief for the public.
