ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik’s wife, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has expressed gratitude to the business community and members of the public for their strong support of the ‘Save Yasin Malik’ campaign.

Mishal said a mass public movement was urgently needed to save Yasin Malik’s life and secure the release of Kashmiri prisoners, said a press release.

She alleged that India was attempting to eliminate Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders by implicating them in fabricated cases.

She claimed that the Modi-led government in Indian-administered Kashmir was shedding the blood of Kashmiri youth and vowed to continue the public awareness campaign from Karachi to Islamabad.

Mishal praised the trader community for what she described as its ‘historic role’ in supporting the Kashmir cause. She warned that failure to resolve the Kashmir dispute could push the region toward a dangerous situation.

Referring to the recent Pahalgam incident, she alleged that oppression against Kashmiris had intensified afterward.

She said that the hearing in Yasin Malik’s case is scheduled for July 22 and claimed that India can go to any extent in the matter.

Mishal said Yasin Malik is being denied access to legal counsel, family members, and medical treatment. She also claimed that his metallic heart valve had expired five years ago, placing his life at serious risk.

Accusing India of carrying out judicial terrorism against Yasin Malik, she further alleged that India’s intelligence agency was involved in the killing of a Kashmiri leader in Muzaffarabad.

She also accused sections of the Indian media of celebrating the killings of Kashmiris and alleged that India was involved in cross-border terrorism and targeted killings.
