Minor girl drowns in Abu Dhabi Canal

A 4-year-old girl drowned in Abu Dhabi Canal passing through Iqbal Abad Uch area of the district

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) A 4-year-old girl drowned in Abu Dhabi Canal passing through Iqbal Abad Uch area of the district.

Official sources in Rescue 1122 said that according to a phone call received at the control room, the girl fell into the canal while playing.

“The rescue team reached the scene, and launched rescue operation,” they said adding that a rescue operation was underway to search for the missing girl.
