He said that all areas were being actively covered and field teams had been directed to ensure continuous operations to achieve the set cleanliness targets across the province.

Responding to a query regarding reports of garbage dumps in some areas, the minister clarified that certain locations were falling outside the current operational domain of the Suthra Punjab Project. He stated that these areas were not yet fully included in the project’s immediate coverage framework. However, he emphasized that the government was aware of such gaps and is actively working to expand the project’s reach.

The Punjab minister added that future phases would bring more areas under the Suthra Punjab initiative to ensure uniform cleanliness standards across all regions. He further assured that despite current limitations, the government remained committed to improving sanitation coverage and would place greater focus on extending services, strengthening monitoring systems and addressing public concerns in a phased and structured manner.
