Minister pays tribute to armed forces on first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yaseen has congratulated the nation on the completion of one year of Marka-e-Haq, stating that the sacrifices of martyrs, along with the leadership of the political and military command, would always be remembered with pride and honour.

He said that the enemy, despite claims of numerical and technological superiority, faced a humiliating defeat as its fighter jets were destroyed by Pakistan’s armed forces, which he described as “Pakistan’s falcons.” He added that Pakistan, being the only nuclear power in the Islamic world, forced its long-time adversary into disgrace.

The minister said that the nation bows before Almighty Allah in gratitude for the historic success of the Marka-e-Haq. He added that after the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, Pakistan continued to achieve successes on multiple fronts, and its global stature has become unparalleled.

Bilal Yaseen remarked that the enemy remains fearful of Pakistan’s progress but emphasized that the nation stands united to defeat all conspiracies against the country. He later cut a cake with party workers in his constituency to mark the occasion.

Paying tribute to the national leadership, he said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir represented the aspirations of the nation during Marka-e-Haq. He particularly lauded the Pakistan Air Force for demonstrating exceptional courage and operational excellence.

He further stated that during Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the armed forces delivered a decisive response to the enemy, which would be remembered in history in golden words. Reaffirming national resolve, he said Pakistanis remain committed to defeating terrorism and anti-state elements.

The minister said that the sacrifices of martyrs are a priceless national asset and will always be honoured by the nation.
