Meeting reviews release of grant for solarization

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) The release of special grant for solarization for The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) was reviewed in a meeting.

The meeting was held between Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur, and Ghulam Nabi, Director General Finance Division, Higher education Commission reviewed issue of release of grant for solarization.

According to an official press release issued by the IUB here, the discussion was focused on three key financial and development matters of the university including provision of seed money for the solarization of various IUB campuses, increase in recurring grant to meet mandatory expenses of the university for the upcoming financial year and progress on IUB’s new and ongoing development projects sent to the HEC.
