Meeting held regarding Eid-ul-Fitr safety measures

PARACHINAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) A meeting to review arrangements and safety measures for Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday was held in Kurram district under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ashfaq Khan, the officials said.

The meeting, held in the district conference room, was attended by assistant commissioners from all three sub-divisions as well as heads of various line departments.

The officials were instructed to submit their emergency response plans and duty rosters to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office the same day to ensure timely action in case of any unforeseen situation.

The departments were also directed to keep their communication lines open, designate focal persons, and share their operational plans with the district administration.

The DC emphasised the need for heightened vigilance during Eid, particularly in light of ongoing border tensions. The authorities were told to ensure effective traffic management at public places, while the public was urged to avoid unnecessary visits to crowded areas and to follow precautionary measures.
