Mayor holds public hearing of citizens' complaints

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2026) The Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Shoro held a public hearing of the citizens' complaints pertaining to the municipal services at the mayor's secretariat here on Sunday.

The officers of Hyderabad Water and Sewerage Corporation (HW&SC), HMC and Sindh Solid Waste Management board (SSWMB) were present during the hearing.

On the occasion, the citizens raised issues like accumulation of solid waste, overflowing sewage on roads, water shortage, need for street lights and cleanliness.

The Mayor warned the officials that negligence in water supply, drainage and cleanliness would not be tolerated.

Shoro said the purpose of holding weekly public hearings was to directly hear from the people what civic problems they faced in the city.
