Mayor holds meeting with LG representatives of opposition parties

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) The Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro held a meeting with the local government representatives belonging to the opposition parties in the HMC.

The Mayor's spokesman informed here on Saturday that during the meeting the representatives conveyed their complaints and apprehensions regarding the development initiatives in Hyderabad.

According to him, the Mayor keenly listened to the representatives and assured them that the issues raised by them would be addressed on priority basis.

The Mayor also briefed the delegation about an array of development schemes which were being executed in the city.

He said the reconstruction of Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro flyover, which was located along Akram canal and connects Hyderabad with the Mirpurkhas road, would greatly ease the flow of traffic.

Shoro added that not only the local population would benefit from the reconstruction, the people commuting from Hyderabad to Tandojam, Tando Allahyar and Mirpurkhas would also benefit from that flyover.

He claimed that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and its provincial government were taking serious interest in Hyderabad's development.
