Mansoor Ahmed Memon appointed as MD SIDA

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) The Chief Secretary of Sindh, Asif Hyder Shah, has appointed a BS-20 officer, Mansoor Ahmed Memon, as the Managing Director (MD) of Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority (SIDA), according to a notification issued on Tuesday.

Memon, who was working as Chief Engineer, Development Region-I Hyderabad in the Sindh Irrigation Department, will be replacing the outgoing MD SIDA Preetam Das, who has retired from service.

Meanwhile, the CS has posted BS-20 Shoaib Ahmed Sugrio as the Chief Engineer Development Region-I Hyderabad after relieving him from the post of Project Director SCARP North Rohri Project, Shaheed Benazirabad.

Sugrio's post has been given to BS-19 Noor-ul-Arfin, who is currently posted as Deputy PD Sindh Barrages Improvement Project.
