MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) The district administration of Mansehra, following directives from the provincial government and the Deputy Commissioner Mansehra, and Assistant Commissioner Sana Fatima, conducted inspections of various city markets.
During her visits, she checked prices, quality and the prominent display of official price lists for food items. Shopkeepers were strictly instructed to fully comply with government-notified rates.
She also visited complaint desks set up by the administration, spoke directly with citizens, and instructed staff to promptly resolve grievances to ensure maximum convenience for the public during the holy month. The administration emphasized that operations against profiteering and hoarding will continue without exception, and violators will face legal action.
In another inspection, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Mazhar Mahmood, accompanied by representatives from the Food and Agriculture Departments, conducted a morning inspection of the city’s vegetable and fruit markets.
The auction processes were closely monitored, and detailed price reviews were conducted to ensure adherence to official rates. Traders were directed to display price lists prominently and avoid exceeding prescribed rates, with strict action promised against any overcharging or profiteering.
These steps reflect the administration’s commitment to protecting citizens from unfair pricing and ensuring fair and reasonable rates for essential goods throughout Ramazan.
