Man electrocuted in Sialkot

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) A 40-year-old man died after suffering an electric shock while carrying out electrical work at his house in Green Town near Harrar Stop on Wazirabad Road, Rescue 1122 officials said on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122, the victim, identified as Tariq, came into contact with a live electric wire while working on the house's electrical system and died on the spot.

A Rescue 1122 team reached the scene promptly and, after completing the necessary formalities, handed over the body to the deceased's family.

Rescue 1122 urged the public to observe safety precautions while handling electrical work.
