KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jul, 2026) The out going Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, Herman Hardynata Ahmed, paid a farewell visit to Sindh Assembly on Thursday and discussed matters of mutual interest with Speaker, Syed Awais Qadir Shah.
Speaker Sindh Assembly received the Consul General (CG), Herman Hardynata Ahmed on arrival here at the Assembly building.
Secretary Provincial Assembly of Sindh, G.M. Umar Farooq, and Director General Media, Irfan Ahmed Memon, were also accompanied with him.
The Consul General, Herman Hardynata Ahmed, informed Speaker, Syed Awais Qadir Shah, that after completing his diplomatic responsibilities in Karachi, he would now assume his new assignment in Putrajaya, the Federal administrative capital of Malaysia, for the next three years.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>They also discussed matters of mutual interest, including Pakistan-Malaysia relations, diplomatic cooperation, economic development, regional peace, people-to-people contacts, and other areas of shared interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Consul General of Malaysia presented Speaker, Syed Awais Qadir Shah, with Malaysia’s traditional cultural headgear, Tanjak, as a souvenir.
Speaker Shah presented the Consul General with the Legacy Shield of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, a traditional Sindhi Cap, Ajrak, and books on the history of Sindh and the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
