Madinah buses to run round the clock during Eid Al-Adha holidays

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Madinah Bus Project has announced 24-hour transportation services during the Eid Al-Adha holidays to facilitate the movement of worshippers and visitors to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the bus services will operate around the clock on two main routes connecting the Haramain High Speed Railway station and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport with the central area of Madinah.

The report said the initiative aims to help visitors and worshippers reach the Prophet’s Mosque more easily during the busy Eid and Hajj travel period.

Authorities said the service is being supervised by the Madinah Region Development Authority as part of efforts to improve public transport efficiency and reduce traffic congestion in central areas.

SPA told APP that the continuous transport operation will support smoother mobility between major transit hubs and religious sites during the holiday season.

The report added that the project forms part of broader initiatives to enhance transportation services and improve the experience of visitors in Madinah during Hajj and Eid Al-Adha.
