Livestock vaccination campaign continues in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) On the directives of Additional Director Livestock Tahir Aziz, a livestock vaccination and preventive healthcare campaign is underway at cattle sale points in Bole and Jalalpur Jattan ahead of the sacrificial animal season.

According to official sources, livestock teams have been deployed at sale points to conduct health screening and vaccination of animals to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and ensure disease control during trading activities.

The teams are monitoring animal health conditions and implementing preventive measures. Traders and livestock owners are also being briefed on hygiene practices and precautionary guidelines.

Officials said the campaign aims to safeguard livestock during trading activities and strengthen disease control measures across cattle markets in the district.
