Licensing centres across district fully operational during Ramazan

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Mar, 2026) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam said that all licensing centres across the district are fully operational during the holy month of Ramazan to facilitate citizens.

He added that mobile licensing and police vans are also actively providing doorstep services on the directives of DIG Traffic Punjab, ensuring that residents, especially from remote areas, can access driving licence services without visiting main centres.

The CTO further stated that motorcyclists are being issued learner and regular driving licences on the same day, urging citizens to take full advantage of the facilities by visiting their nearest licensing centre or Khidmat Markaz promptly.

According to Inspector Imtiaz Khan, In-charge of the Driving Licence Branch, a weekly schedule has been issued for mobile licensing vans.

The vans will provide services on Tuesday at Dhok Chiragh Din and car Chowk Dhok Chaudhrian; Wednesday at Jabr Bazaar Gujar Khan and Bhatta Chowk Chakri Road; Thursday at Pirwadhai Bus Stand and UC Netrila; Friday at Chaklala Bazaar Old Airport and Jhawa Picket; Saturday at Baraf Khana Chowk and UC Mughalpura; while special rickshaw driving tests will be conducted on Sunday at Old Varan Depot Saddar.
