LDA seals 109 properties

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jun, 2026) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday sealed another 109 illegal

properties during its on going operation against illegal commercial activities

and fee defaulters.

Acting on the directives of Director General Lahore Development Authority (LDA)

Tahir Farooq, the operation was carried out in Samanabad, Shad Bagh, Gulshan

Ravi, Gulberg, Faisal Town, and Allama Iqbal Town. During the drive, enforcement

teams sealed 28 properties in Gulberg and Faisal Town for unauthorized commercial use.

In a separate action, 56 properties in Samanabad, Shad Bagh, and Gulshan Ravi

were sealed for illegal commercial activities and non-payment of commercial fees.

Meanwhile, during a recovery operation in Allama Iqbal Town, another 25 properties

were sealed for defaulting on commercial fee payments.

The sealed properties included private schools, grocery stores, cafés, restaurants,

food outlets, beauty salons, clinics, bakeries, pharmacies, auto workshops, shops,

offices, and other commercial establishments operating in violation of LDA regulations.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Chief Town Planner-I Asad Uz Zaman.
