Landlord Kills Daughter, Son-in-Law, and Domestic Worker in Gujranwala 'Honor' Killing

Police say the primary suspect opened fire on the couple because his daughter had contracted a marriage of choice approximately three months ago against the family's wishes

GUJRANWALA: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-June 13rd, 2026) A local landlord allegedly shot and killed his daughter, her husband, and a domestic worker in the Mandiala Warraich area of Gujranwala, police reported on Saturday.

The police said that the Primary suspect opened fire on the couple because his daughter had contracted a marriage of choice approximately three months ago against the family's wishes.

Both the daughter and her husband died on the spot.

In a bid to eliminate witnesses and cover up the double homicide, the suspect also shot and killed his domestic employee who was present at the scene.

Police have registered a case and initiated a full investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, raids are being conducted to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
