PML-N Leader Naeem Karim applauds federal budget as balanced and people-friendly

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) Focal Person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Program and senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Chaudhry Naeem Karim, has praised the Federal government for presenting a balanced, people-friendly, and effective budget for the fiscal year 2026–27.

In a statement issued here, Naeem Karim said the budget aims to stabilize the economy while providing maximum relief to citizens. He noted that the needs of salaried employees, farmers, industrialists, and the business community had all been taken into account.

Naeem Karim highlighted that the government introduced measures to ease the financial burden on low-income groups, while also unveiling policies to create new employment opportunities and encourage investment. “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team deserve congratulations for presenting such a well-balanced budget under challenging economic conditions,” he remarked.

He emphasized that the budget reduces pressure on the salaried class, the largest group of taxpayers and the most affected by inflation through tax relief and salary increases.

“This is a true relief budget that will serve as a milestone in delivering the benefits of economic improvement to ordinary citizens,” Naeem Karim said.

The PML-N leader also pointed to initiatives in the information technology sector, which would generate jobs for youth and improve their standard of living. He expressed confidence that the budget would have positive effects across all levels, including boosting exports, thereby strengthening Pakistan’s economic outlook.

Naeem Karim added that under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, the federal government remains committed to economic recovery, completion of development projects, and advancing the welfare agenda. Despite limited resources, he said, the government has made a strong effort to meet public expectations, and the positive impact of the budget will soon be visible in both the national economy and the daily lives of citizens.
