KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) The Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) has held a ceremony and solidarity walk to mark the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” reaffirming support for Pakistan’s armed forces and honoring soldiers who died defending the country.
The event was held under the patronage of Vice Chancellor, Syed Zafar Ilyas and supervised by Jan Alam.
The students, faculty members and administrative staff participated in the gathering.
The speakers at the ceremony described “Marka-e-Haq,” or “Battle of Truth,” as a symbol of the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and bravery in countering enemy threats.
They said the occasion reflected the nation’s unity and resilience in times of challenge.
The university officials led a solidarity walk across the campus, where the participants carried banners and placards expressing support for the armed forces and national unity.

The special prayers were also offered for the country’s sovereignty, stability and prosperity.
In his remarks, Ilyas said the university remained committed to preparing students with both academic knowledge and a sense of responsibility toward national security and moral values.
The ceremony concluded with participants pledging unity against internal and external threats to the country’s integrity.
