Sidra Foundation, YPP hold 2nd Mind Venture 2026 on mental well-being

Galyat, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Sidra Foundation, in collaboration with Youth Parliament Pakistan (YPP), has organized the “2nd Mind Venture 2026” for working professionals to promote mental well-being through healthy and recreational activities.

The two-day event was held at the scenic and environmentally friendly hill station of Khanspur in Galyat region.

Participants from diverse professional and social backgrounds took part in various engaging and stress-relieving activities, including archery, cricket, kite flying, plantation drives, hiking, meditation, a healing session featuring the recitation of Surah Rehman, and first-aid training.

Cultural performances such as Qawali night and Rubab playing were also arranged for entertainment.

Speaking to APP, CEO of Sidra Foundation Rehan Khan said that the initiative aims to support mental health by encouraging people to reconnect with nature and participate in productive recreational activities.

“So far, we have successfully organized two Mind Venture events. Working professionals especially need occasional breaks from their routine to refresh their minds and return to work with renewed energy and focus,” he said.

He added that such unique wellness-oriented programs are the need of the hour and reaffirmed his commitment to continue organizing similar initiatives in the future.

Founder of Youth Parliament Pakistan, Osama Nadeem Qureshi, in conversation with APP, expressed satisfaction over the successful organization of the second edition of the event.

“The first Mind Venture was organized in 2025, and we are delighted with the positive response to this year’s event in Khanspur,” he said.

He noted that stress and anxiety have become common challenges in modern life, making such activities increasingly important for mental well-being.

“We will continue supporting such initiatives and plan to introduce more healthy and engaging activities in the future,” he added.
