KPRA panel reviews KP Sales Tax on Services (Refund) Rules 2026

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) held the second meeting of the Committee to Review KP Sales Tax on Services (Refund) Rules, 2026.

Director Finance, Baseer Ali Rahman, chaired the meeting, attended by Advisor Tax Enforcement, Fazal Amin Shah, and other KPRA officers, including Deputy Collector, Raheel Iqbal, Deputy Director, Mian Shahzad Fazal, and Deputy Director, Saud Khan Wazir.

The officers deliberated on the proposals and solutions in response to the suggestions given during the committee’s first meeting.

A threadbare discussion was held, with each point examined in detail to address potential weaknesses in the rules and ensure they were simple, clear and consistent with the existing KP Sales Tax on Services law.

The committee members agreed on the proposed measures and decided to finalise the rules in the next meeting after incorporating the suggested amendments.
