KP announces approved building plans, regularization fee

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) The Building Control Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially approved building plans and announced revised regularization fees under a new notification.

According to the statement, separate fee structures have been introduced for residential and commercial buildings to ensure transparency and legal compliance in the construction process.

Under the new policy:

The building plan approval or regularization fee for residential buildings has been set at Rs 10 per square foot.

For commercial buildings, the fee has been fixed at Rs 20 per square foot.

In addition, the land use charges have been determined as residential land use fee: Rs 2,000,

commercial land use fee: Rs 10,000, housing scheme land use fee: Rs 100,000.

Officials stated that the revised fee structure aims to streamline construction regulations and promote lawful development across the province.
