KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2026) Kohat Police on Tuesday successfully resolved a longstanding land dispute between two groups in Khadizai village through mediation, following directives issued by District Police Officer (DPO) Shehbaz Elahi.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rana Tahir Mehmood visited the village, located within the jurisdiction of Ustarzai Police Station, where he held discussions with the disputing parties in the presence of local elders to facilitate an amicable settlement.

According to police, both sides accepted the mutually agreed resolution and pledged to maintain peace, uphold brotherhood, and respect the rule of law, bringing an end to the prolonged dispute.

Residents and community elders appreciated the impartial role played by Kohat Police in resolving the matter peacefully. They thanked DPO Shehbaz Elahi and ASP Rana Tahir Mehmood for their efforts in promoting harmony and preventing further tensions in the area.
