Killer gets death sentence

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) The sessions court awarded death sentence to an accused for murdering

his wife on Monday. The court also ordered the convict to pay a

fine of Rs 300,000.

The prosecution said that the convict had slit the throat of his wife Shabnam Bibi with a knife,

and the Kahna Police Station had registered a case against him in 2025.

Additional Sessions Judge Ijaz Ahmed Bosal completed the trial of the case and after hearing

arguments, issued a decision to sentence the convict to death.
