IUB granted permission to start research in Anthropology, Homeopathic Medical Science

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jun, 2026) The Higher education Commission of Pakistan (HECP) has granted permission to the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) to start MPhil programs in Anthropology and Homeopathic Medical Science.

According to an official press release issued by the IUB here, Professor Dr Asif Naveed Ranjha, Director, Advanced Studies and Research, said that the Higher Education Commission has issued 138 NOC to the Islamia University of Bahawalpur so far in this regard.

Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran congratulated the Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti, and Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Qaiser Jabeen, Dr. Farooq Ahmed, Chairman, Department of Anthropology, and Dr. Leila Samreen, Department of Homeopathic Medical Science, for issuing permits in the respective programs. Admissions to these programs are ongoing in Fall 2026.
