ITP rolls out facilitation vans schedule across capital

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced a week-long deployment plan for its Facilitation Vans to provide essential traffic-related services at multiple locations across the Federal capital from February 23 to March 1, 2026.

An official told APP on Sunday that the Facilitation Vans, including the Police Station on Wheels (PS), will remain operational daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, enabling citizens to conveniently access key services without visiting traffic offices.

The official said citizens can avail facilities including Driving Learner Permits, General Verification, Character Certificates, Duplicate Driving Licenses, Renewal of Driving Licenses, and Lost Documents Reports.

February 23 (Monday):

PS (Police Station on Wheels) – 1-8 Markaz

Van-I – Check Point Faizabad (Faisal Avenue)

Van-II – Check Point Zero Point (Srinagar Highway)

Van-III – Check Point Adventure Inn (Murree Road)

February 24 (Tuesday):

PS – G-9 Markaz

Van-I – Community school Police Lines

Van-II – Air HQ E-8

Van-III – Ali Murtaza Islamic Centre (G-11/1)

February 25 (Wednesday):

PS – G-11 Markaz

Van-I – Check Point Faizabad (Faisal Avenue)

Van-II – Check Point Zero Point (Srinagar Highway)

Van-III – Check Point Adventure Inn (Murree Road)

February 26 (Thursday):

PS – Sohan

Van-I – Community School Police Lines

Van-II – Check Point Gandam Godam (IJP Road)

February 27 (Friday):

The official further said that dedicated Help & Facilitation Desks will also remain functional daily from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at major commercial centres, including F-10 Markaz, Super Market F-6, 1-8 Markaz, and Jinnah Super F-7, to assist citizens during peak evening hours.

Citizens have been advised to visit the nearest Facilitation Van as per the schedule to benefit from these services.
