ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Wednesday released 261,400 cusecs of water from various rim stations with an inflow of 315,100 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, the water level in the River Indus at Tarbela Dam stood at 1503.19 feet, which was 101.19 feet higher than the dead level of 1402.00 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the dam were recorded as 199,000 cusecs and 158,100 cusecs, respectively.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1172.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>90 feet, which was 122.90 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water were recorded as 24,800 cusecs and 12,000 cusecs, respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu and Sukkur was recorded as 213,000, 179,800, 136,400, and 69,600 cusecs, respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 37,800 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera, and 24,200 cusecs were released from River Chenab at Marala.
