Interest Free Loans of Rs 2.84 Million Disbursed to 77 Women in Sukkur

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) Under the Sindh Government’s People's Poverty Reduction Program (PPRP), the Sindh Rural Support Organization

(SRSO) on Tuesday distributed interest-free Community Investment Fund (CIF) tokens to 77 women in Saleh Put

taluka of Sukkur district.

The interest-free amount, totaling Rs 2,840,000, was disbursed to women from 77 poor households through two

Village Organizations (VOs).

The initiative aims to provide financial assistance to rural women to start or expand small businesses, thereby improving their household incomes and employment opportunities.

This step by the Sindh government through SRSO is a significant effort toward socio-economic empowerment of women, poverty reduction, and creation of sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural women.
