ICT Police net 12 outlaws, recover drugs, weapons in crackdown

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 12 outlaws during ongoing operations against criminal elements in different areas of the Federal capital.

An official told APP on Thursday that police teams of Aabpara, Sangjani, Khanna and Bani Gala police stations arrested four accused involved in various criminal activities.

He said police recovered 30 bottles of liquor and three pistols along with ammunition from their possession.

The official said cases had been registered against the accused and further investigation was underway.

He said during a special campaign against proclaimed offenders and absconders, police teams arrested eight more criminals, taking the total number of arrests to 12.

Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown against criminal elements to ensure peace and tranquility in the federal capital.
