ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Islamabad’s Eid-ul-Azha sanitation operation continued across the Federal capital as Additional Deputy Commissioner General (ADCG) Sahibzada Yousaf carried out surprise visits to several areas and reviewed public complaints linked to the cleanup campaign.
Officials said the administration remained active in handling complaints through helpline 1334 while sanitation teams continued waste disposal operations in different sectors of the city.
During the visit, the ADCG inspected sanitation arrangements in Bara Kahu and along Simly Dam Road. He reviewed complaints one by one and directed field teams to resolve all pending issues without delay. Officials accompanying the ADCG briefed him on the progress of waste collection, disposal activities, and response time to public complaints.
The administration said the Eid cleanup operation was continuing in all areas of Islamabad with sanitation workers deployed in streets, markets, and residential sectors. Teams remained engaged in collecting and transporting animal waste to designated dumping sites set up for Eid-ul-Azha operations.
Sahibzada Yousaf also inspected conditions in different streets and main roads to review the performance of sanitation teams working during the Eid holidays.

According to the district administration, the strategy prepared for the disposal of animal remains was being implemented successfully across the city. Officials said real-time coordination between field teams and control rooms helped improve the response to complaints received from citizens.
The ADCG appealed to residents to report any negligence in cleanliness arrangements through helpline 1334. He said public cooperation was important for maintaining sanitation during the Eid holidays and ensuring timely removal of waste from residential areas.
Officials stated that control rooms established by the district administration remained operational throughout the day to monitor field activities and respond to complaints. The administration said sanitation teams would continue working during the remaining days of Eid-ul-Azha to maintain cleanliness and complete waste disposal operations in all parts of the capital.
The district administration added that monitoring visits would continue to ensure that complaints were addressed quickly and sanitation standards were maintained during the Eid period.
