Health screening drive launched in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Health Gujrat Dr Syed Ata-ul-Munim visited various health centres and hospitals during Health Week and inaugurated health screening camps across the district.

According to health department sources, the CEO Health, accompanied by his team, inaugurated a health camp at Rural Health Centre (RHC) Sarai Alamgir.

He also reviewed ongoing Health Week activities at MNCH Centre Fatah Pur Gujrat, THQ Hospital Lalamusa, THQ Kunjah, Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed Hospital Kunjah and RHC Shadiwal.

Meanwhile, Chaudhry Ikhlaq Ahmad Rania and MPA Ejaz Ahmad inaugurated a health screening camp at TLH Dinga.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Syed Ata ul Munim said the purpose of Health Week was to provide citizens with quality healthcare facilities and timely screening services. He directed the medical staff to ensure the provision of the best possible healthcare services to the public.
