17 suspects involved in various crimes arrested

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) The City police here Friday arrested 17 suspects involved in various crimes and recovered weapons from their possession.

The spokesperson for capital city police Peshawar in a statement, claimed that operations against anti-social and criminal elements were continuing intensively.

Under the supervision of SP Saddar Division Fida Hussain, SHO Budhbair Wajid Khan, along with other police personnel, conducted targeted operations in different areas.

Proclaimed offenders wanted in serious cases, individuals possessing illegal weapons, facilitators sheltering outlaws, robbers who looted people in passenger vehicles, highway robbers, and suspects involved in other crimes arrested.

The arrested proclaimed offenders include Mansoor, Muazullah, Adnan, Murad Ali, Shehzad, Inharullah and Fawad.

Other suspects arrested for robbery and related crimes include Jahangir, Alf Shah, Fayyaz, Ziaullah, Naseem alias Naseemay, Shahi Rehman, Saddam Hussain, and Fawad.

Police also recovered stolen cash amounting to 400,000 rupees, a motor car used in criminal activities, eight pistols, and multiple rounds of ammunition from the suspects’ possession.

During initial interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to their involvement in the crimes. Cases have been registered against them, and further investigation is underway.
