Hazrat Imam Hussain (ra) sacrifice eternal message of truth, Justice and Perseverance: Sheikh Abdul Waheed

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jun, 2026) President Anjuman Tajran Liaquat Road Rawalpindi Sheikh Abdul Waheed has said that the great sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala continues to serve as an eternal message of truth, patience, perseverance, and standing firm against oppression.

In his statement, he said that the incident of Karbala teaches humanity that real success lies in offering sacrifices for truth and righteousness.

He added that Imam Hussain (RA), along with his family and companions, set an everlasting example for the Muslim Ummah by sacrificing everything for the supremacy of islam and the triumph of truth.

Sheikh Abdul Waheed further stated that the remembrance of the martyrs of Karbala guides society towards the principles of unity, brotherhood, selflessness, tolerance, and justice.

He emphasized that during the sacred days of Muharram, people should draw inspiration from the character, patience, resilience, and high moral values of Imam Hussain (RA) and promote love, peace, brotherhood, and tolerance in society.

He said this is the true way of paying tribute to the martyrs of Karbala and honoring their great sacrifice.
