Gumbat police conduct search, strike operation, narcotics seized

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Gumbat Police carried out a comprehensive search and strike operation against criminal elements in various localities, including Khwaja Khail, Darsha Khail, and Gaz Dara. The operation was led by DSP Gumbat Sajjad Haider and SHO Gumbat Javed Khan, with heavy contingents of police participating.

During the operation, police raided the houses of proclaimed offenders, conducted thorough searches of multiple residences, and checked suspicious individuals.

In a separate action against narcotics, Gumbat Police arrested a drug peddler identified as Rehan and recovered 1,100 grams of charas from his possession. A case has been registered against the accused under the Narcotics Act, and further investigation is underway.
